Earth Day
Speaking as Earth Day has just passed us, I think the world needs to be concerned about just that, the earth. We live our day to day lives probably without even thinking about how the things we do have a positive or negative reaction on the world around us. Pollution, it's a huge problem which leads to the ozone layer being deteriorated which in the long run has increasingly severe impacts on us. Pollution, though inevitable, we can decrease the amount we create. People should carpool, walk or ride there bikes. A huge and easy way to save energy is to unplug electronics out of wall plugs, this takes a good two seconds and if everyone was to be consciences and do this a good amount of energy used in a day would be decreased. I think its the small things that can help us be a greener, longer living world.

Motivation
My main motivation of learning the chemistry we have and will be covering this year is grades. My grades are very important to me because they are what will ultimately be a deciding my future in one shape or form. Also another motivation in regards to this class is because a lot of the information we are learning is indeed interesting so its not that bad to learn about. As well I am aware that the materials I learn now will be prerequisites most likely in the future so if i don't learn it now I will be behind at some point. Overall in life I'd say I'm a movtivated person however I will be the first to admit that I can be motivated for the wrong reasons. I am, and or, was motivated in cheerleading last year to make the varsity team this year, which I did, so now I am significantly less motivated because I am on the highest team already. I am motivated at work to do well and sell a lot one because its my job but also I would like to get a raise in the near future so that could be an illegitament reason to be motivated.

Politics and Science
politics and science. how they are interconnected can be interpreted multiple ways. One way i see it is that science can lead to discussions or issues in politics. one example of this would be the issue of global warming that then leads to people in politics making movements to help prevent or make sure this problem doesn't get increasingly worse. Another example would be an outbreak of a certain disease, people with power in politics could send out warnings or media alerts. in the same breath notifications in politics can lead to advancements in science fields. inevitably these two go hand in hand
